WOW, are you going to be able to keep track of which way you're going? No shredding it through fences.

WOW, are you going to be able to keep track of which way you're going? No shredding it through fences. Pointy end forward, the bottom is gray... we will see. It will be better than solid black against the sun which got the other one.

Mig is coming along, I tried something a little different with the canopy. It theoretically needs tweaking in the plans, but it isn't anything that someone with a few models under their belt couldn't handle. A little black sharpie can fix that. 20220622_211818 by Burkeomatic, on Flickr You can easily fit a 6-7 inch prop in the back. I was thinking a 2207 2100kv on 4S would be enough power (technically 3s would be enough because the plane would be lighter). The only thing I would worry about is it being nose heavy but you should be able to get the battery far enough back. You could probably even go up to a 2212 high KV motor with a 7x6 on 4S and that would add some more weight to the back and really scream. Keep in mind that a sunny sky 2207/2100kv on 4S with that exact prop in my hand there has been known to get some flying wings up to 100mph, so it should be plenty quick enough. I was also thinking about building another pusher one of these, and putting a flight controller and ELRS on it. I am able to get a 4S 4000mah to balance just barely with the EDFs, though I doubt I will fly it like that. But, if you were able to get a 4000mah to balance with the prop, this plane tracks like it is on rails, and may very well make one hell of a long range FPV plane, it is slippery enough to have good efficiency. 20220622_222950 by Burkeomatic, on Flickr

Anyone ever put bedliner on the bottom of their plane? Now I have. I call it the tennessee skid plate. Looks way better than tape.

ratcheerooGot that vinyl game going on the hatches of the clouds tonight. Gotta resurrect the vinyl skillz from the car guy days. PS, too much heat will bubble up epo under the vinyl. I only did it in a small spot, lesson learned.

Cool, that stuff does look nice. I find vinyl is a practice thing, the more you do it the better and easier it gets. I like that plane, looks simple enough to knock off a foamboard version . X-UAV Clouds right? Kinda Bush Hawk worthy LMAO!! I can see it now , all vinyled up chicken hawk like LOL i.pinimg.com/originals/6e/af/3b/6eaf3bae39d69cf2d4f795515b25663a.jpg

It sure isn't the avery stuff but it works. X-UAV also redesigned the clouds, it is called the goose, and it is a little sleeker, same wingspan. Honestly, I wouldn't have even bought the clouds but I fluked into it for 90 bucks. It has yet to be flown, but we are close to getting it in the air. It is technically flyable now. It has a spot in the belly for a downward facing camera, I may try my hand at mapping, it may be fun, who knows. Mine and the goose were designed with mapping in mind. After all, I have plenty of planes that can fly with a gopro beaming straight ahead.

Oh yeah, coming along. I think Monte.C was right about the camo print being too busy. Oh well. _______________________________________________ LOL! The word for the day is SUBTLETY. Learn it. Live it. Love it.

It actually looks great in the air, you don't even notice the red.

Kidding around. The plane looks awesome. wonder what "blue and silver dazzle" looks like... Hope you're not out there blinding all the birds! BAM. What was that?! I think it was another sparrow flying into the side of my barn.

I think it was another sparrow flying into the side of my barn. Funny you should ask, I just finished it. I have some carbon fiber vinyl coming in too I will put another later over that. The hawks and cara cara tend to get their interest piqued then figure out I am not a target and leave me alone. It meets your wingspan requirement.... you should buy one.

Threw a coat of minwax on the P36 to stop further degradation. Also working on the canopy hatch.

Found this on the side of the road today. Some new wiring here and there, a little solder, and battery diagnosis and my 3 year old has a sweet ride. Has 4wd too.
