I got a couple of servos and the rest of the electronics squared away, all I need to do is get the ailerons hooked up.

I really do intend to paint it, I was just using up my foam board, I think the colors look terrible. It's got it's own personality, kinda like ...... Ok, we are go for this weekend. A question though, you said the cg is about 1/4 behind the LE of the top wing? Well mine balances there without a battery. I have the motor jammed all the way back too. It probably has to do with where I used nothing but wood glue and the inside of my wings are depapered since i did smooth airfoil.

Yup, glides and flies nice and level with the CG there. One thing I've found that I don't think I've documented is some pretty sever down and right thrust to cure the up and left pull on launch. About 4mm off the bottom and right. It will fly okay without it but the launch is hairy.

I cut the down and right thrust into the powerpod like FT does on the minis. It is fairly considerable. I'll start out with a 3s 1000 then, it should balance well on that. One thing I have found out about this design on the real plane is that it is pretty stall resistant due to the wing stagger. The bottom wing will stall first, resulting in a pitch down and the top wing speeding up. Pretty neat.

Sorry man, it was flying great. Second pack I was getting pretty confident with it, then I clipped the goal post. The plane went together great and flew great, however.

Yeah, I'll fix it, won't say it will be pretty. Hmmm, with the Dennis Rodwing color scheme that's not really going to be a problem is it?
