Double Ender update: Did the repairs and gave the front motor 7° up from the plans. It makes the front edge of the motor pod square with the top. I did a new glide test and confirmed the CG placement with all the electronics but no gear. I launched at low rates and about half throttle. It flies! You'll either have to mix in some rudder or fly with both thumbs. Well look at you go! Well done, I like it!

Got to fly it again before dark. 7° is a little too much, 5° would be just about right.

Geez guys. I come from the land of keep-it-simple-or-I-won't-understand-what-you're-on-about. Fix your thrust angles and be done with it.
And long battery cables are cool.
EDIT: Sorry, I missed the part about that it flies now. Hehe, sorry. I'm sure the battery cables were the problem.

And if that hairstyle is what's popular these days then I'm going to have to resign from the homeowners' association. I just gotta be me.

Double Ender Airworthiness Directive: If you haven't built the wing yet (or even if you have) be sure to add something to strengthen the dihedral joints. I flew mine this morning and fortunately saw the 20° - 30° deflection before it failed.
