I dig it. I need to make a new edf, got a 70 and 50mm doing nothing If you're feeling really froggy, i have some prototype plans for a 70mm version of one of these. Hatches are something I was going to design in when I build the prototype. I can put up plans if you are interested. If I had time I’d be down as that’s exactly what I’m looking for. Might be able to build one when schools out but I’ll let you know |

Here she is with some vinyl, just need to finesse the nose a bit and then some clear on all the black.    Color looks weird in the pics, it is matte burnt orange. Did you ever get this in the air? If so.... how did it fly. I am building a 30mm EDF version right now.  As you can tell, I modified the h stab a little for 1 servo horn. |

Haven't flown it yet, its all ready to go same as the Rare Bear, all gyroed up and ready to go, I think an NX3 or something like that. I will take it Thursday morning and give it a toss for you and do a maiden.

Haven't flown it yet, its all ready to go same as the Rare Bear, all gyroed up and ready to go, I think an NX3 or something like that. I will take it Thursday morning and give it a toss for you and do a maiden. Cool thing is, it balances with a 2s1p 18650 pack, and is under 250g. Even pulling 5a, that would end up being a 30 min flight time. This has me thinking I may want to build a sub 250 30mm edf fpv ship. |

Now that would be a pretty cool project. I ordered one of those battery packs for the Drift. Finally got that plane figured out.

Although, I suppose I could design one, and make the fuselage a little fatter to fit a decent camera/vtx and such. |

The little 2s edf wasn't enough power for it, just kind of flopped. Not sure if I should add airfoil to the wing, or try 3s.
I think the ESC is only a 10a... maybe we'll see.
