I watched this video today, pretty cool. Couldn't help but think that these planes are made with FT foamboard LOL. Cool planes, kinda , but can't help but think that this is not going to help the current state of the hobby as far as people pointing out the nefarious things that could be done with a couple sheets of foamboard and a glue gun LMAO!! youtu.be/RokgR2FLUJA

Video was pretty funny. They describe using it to drop supplies and then show soldiers unloading a large parachute dropped pallet of material.

Those things are sensationalized bullshit.
I mean, if you want to carry a few pounds of supplies to the front lines, maybe.
They can allegedly carry 11 pounds or 5.5kg (how much of that is battery to go 75 miles..... at least 2).
If you think of what that means on an individual basis that isn't a lot.
I just so happen to have military gear and stuff hanging out.
A box of 100 5.56 rounds weighs 1400g, a MRE weighs 600g, and an IFAK (bare minimum essential life saving medical supplies to last 1 day and one injury even basically) weighs 1500g. I googled it and an M67 grenade weighs 400g. So maybe enough to sustain one individual one day? How many of those would you need to supply a platoon to work one day, excluding mortars, rockets, and heavier duty ammo?
I think they have their uses, maybe resupplying a group separated from their unit or operating out and by themselves, and 10 pounds of the right explosive could do some damage to maybe 1 unarmored vehicle, a radar unit, or an area target of a few people, but these things are not wholesale inflictors of death or even something I would be particularly worried about.
