Skinning has started. As you can see from pics I do it old school. pin a piece of paper to the area I want to cover, mark the center points and trace the shape. Copy pattern to posterboard and glue into place. I start from the back and movre forward overlapping the pieces by about an 1/8 of an inch. So far, so good, bottom of wing turned out really well and was probably the hardestpiece to trace out. Rear servos go in tonight and the top part of the area I skinned will get covered. If all goes well hopefully I can get the hatch area and hatch covered as well. I ended up putting split flaps on the QED. I had a hard time slowing it down, I could lose altitude or speed but not both.

Maybe I could do flaperons and see how that goes first. First flight will be gyro assisted as well so yea I will give that a go, just a matter of a mix.
