I need to take some pictures, but I couldn't find any reasonably priced CA hinges at the time and was impatient, so I had remembered in my previous searches somewhere in the depths of the internet I had found that Tyvek (those hard to tear plastic mailers) are a good substitute for CA hinges. I should have done these on my willynilly Duster, but I just used a laminate hinge method I had found. Anyway, I did this on my P40 and it worked pretty flawlessly. I just used the edge where it is doubled over and stuck it in the slots and it is solid. You can hold the whole plane up by the hinge. Pretty neat, you probably get these for free when you get other stuff in the mail, but it is $1.25 at the dollar tree when you are stocking up on stuff to build with. In the meanwhile, I found cheap CA hinges on value hobby when looking for pushrod clevises (I am going to switch to those from linkage stoppers), so if you are picking up a bunch of cheap motors or something from there, it is a good place to get them. valuehobby.com/25mm-10mm-ca-hinges.html

Yeah, I saw it somewhere, and I don't remember where. I figured it works well, and there is no sense in doing a new order for just CA hingest if you don't need to pick up anything else, they could get expensive like that.
