No my friends, I am building an overpowered nerf rifle for my daughter.... totally for her. I have actually built some of these in the past. When I was 15 I built one out of 1/2 inch copper pipe, schedule 40, and a bike pump, it was single shot, pump it 3 times, and chronoed at 300 fps. I was the nerf sniper of the neighborhood. Had a suppressor made out of PVC pipe and garden hose washers that actually worked too. It is called the caliburn, designed by a guy who goes by captain slug. www.captainslug.com/Files are available here. www.thingiverse.com/thing:2376150/filesIt is a pump action mag fed nerf blaster that will fire 200 fps and take off the shelf mags, or 3d printed ones. You can buy the hardware kit here. It is modular damn near to the point an AR15 is. www.frontlinefoam.com/product/caliburn-hardware-kit/They also have several iterations of guns you can print and buy hardware for, depending on what you are into. Naturally I looked at sourcing all of the hardware myself, but lots of it had to be bought in bulk and shipping was prohibitive and I don't plan on building multiples, so I just opted to go with the kit, which supports some kids that are really into nerfing/larping or a man child who lives in their Mom's basement. It will be printed with glow in the dark PLA and this super awesome flashforge burnt titanium PLA that looked super awesome and was on sale on amazon for 18 dollars so I just had to impulse buy it.
