OK Folks these are my winter projects. The FT Flerken and The FT Tudor I have printed out the plans for both and have started with cutting out the plywood parts I have been interest in building The Flerken and when you guys started talking about it Like hey lets build this I jumped onboard. I have to start with the plywood parts as Im all out of spray glue to make Templates. I have been wanting to build The Tudor as well I want a float Plane model to fly at my brother inlaws cottage in northern Ontario. I joined M.A.A.C. a couple of days ago and will join the local club in January.  |

My winter builds are to just finish up all of the crap that has been hanging out, and to not start anything new.

I think my winter build list is strangely similar to last year's.... Lemme see. Finish your plane. Finish the quad. Finish designing/building the SU-34. Finish building/designing the X-36. Finish the X-UAV clouds. Fix/remaiden the dolphin. Maiden the fiberglass/epp hooptie white shark. Finish upgrading my daughters plane. Finish the dart 250 2.0 That covers it. It is supposed to be cold AF this week too. |

It is supposed to be cold AF this week too. yea I hear the cold is coming - my son just flew home from college in Louisiana and they were calling for a freeze and snow tomorrow - and he flew home to 30+snow - Friday it's supposed to drop to single digits and (hopefully) 12-14" of the white stuff.

- on the finish list: -- mini P40 (MiniacRC) -- mini ME109 (Grifflyer?) -- mini Corsair (FT Peter Sripol design) -- FT Simple Cub for a friend -- FT Legacy (acquired in a package deal) -- BF/ME109 my design build #2 (lol) -- original P36 airframe - put in paint and make it airworthy again -- P40E (my design - needs to be finished and polished)
- on the repair list (group repair list that is... you crash it, you help fix it lol)
-- FT Simple Cub for my son #1 -- FT Explorer for son #2 -- FT Guinea Pig (acquired in pieces from FF22 by my kids)
- plans glued to foam and awaiting build: -- FT Simple Cub (spare for kids flying) -- FT Mini Scout (for son #2 to build) -- Mini A6M Zero (LocalFiend) -- P61 (13th Squadron)
- plans printed and awaiting the full deal -- FT Mini Guinea -- FT Flerken -- a stack of too many to bother counting and noting here (lots of minis for when others get scrapped)
- designs started and no foam cut yet
-- Vultee XP-68 (Underground Foamies build competition?)
-- Avia B534 (want this done and build by FF23)
OK - so that list sucks and shows that I need to stop starting new stuff and finish some already started stuff. But I want to build the Staggerwing... wait - its printed - that means its started lol
Maybe on Christmas vacation / break...

Mr NCT staggerwing is fun. I finally killed mine but had fun doing it. I didn't bother with flaps though. I forgot to add my willy nilly duster on to that, and finishing my daughters plane too. I also always like to have something on the printer going, so I may start something there.

Pretty stoked about this little duster, should be fun. I ordered a 6 channel FlySky receiver and a byme-D gyro for the Flerkin today! I have an extra byme I need to put something on. Maybe it will be the flurken I will eventually build. Some nifty little LOS wing type of thing for sure. The arrow would be good I think if the fuselage weren't so dang skinny. |

1. Peter S's FT Corsair with Rasterize's skins
2. Ratcheroo's Bush Hawk
3. Update my EZ Bronco (graphics and skins and then potentially make a non-profile, albeit slightly boxy version)
4. Remake my Nano Flerken and Mini Scout (with floats) with skins I created and print on my local library's large-format printer)
5. I might have a go at throwing the Nano Flerken electronics into the little FT Wonder Glider, or even create a Nano Scout.... That could be fun...

Ok, I finished the quad, mostly, still needs a vtx but it is what is is. I also finished the dart, made a new battery for it too. I also got the fiberglass twin hooptie in the air. That little corsair was somewhat challenging to make, but it was one of my first DTFB builds. I think you are the only one I know of that has had luck with the nanoflurken. |

The s800 looks good, you cleaned it up. It will be a tough plane for you. In case you couldn't tell, it had already went though some abuse. You need to put some weight up front if you don't stick FPV gear in it. There is also a canopy you can print off and run 4S if you want to also. You'll find out with a 6045 prop it is plenty fast on 3s they're 100mph planes on 4s. Start with lower rates, trust me. |
