Was having a great day with my somewhat new 85” MXS and disaster struck. Went down the runway, did a gentle push inverted to an upline, and pulled full up elevator to fling it around into a harrier. It didn’t pull out of it, just lawn darted. Turns out the elevator servo stripped out right then and there 👎 I see lots of expensive broken carbon fiber. I know you were talking about maybe saving it, but the cost is about the same as a new one. What I would do is just get the new one (you know this will never fly right) and just give this away to someone local like me who likes patching things like this up and and would probably just build it to fluff around at 30% or do something silly with it. Although smaller at a less costly scale same thing happened to my P40, I was flying at about 70mph down through some goal posts getting ready to pull up while doing a low pass, and my servo stripped and the plane went straight into the ground. What blue servos I do have left are relegated to ultra slow park flyer planes. Unfortunately my F6F has those servos in it, and I feel it is on borrowed time.

Can’t find anyone who wants the fuselage, but my buddy Ricky Bobby has the green scheme of it so he’s gonna take my wings and stabs as spares

I chunked a whole 3d printed model a in the garbage because I didn't want to fly it anymore and it was taking up room.

Man that would hurt my soul a little bit to just toss a model like that You were on discord that night I was just flinging planes in the trash. A never flown FT3D, the F-106 which looked like I left it out in the rain, the night fury, the skyray, all left that night. I have to find a home for the floaterjet before I get pissed and decide I need the room.
