Started a coat of clear on the Telemaster, you can see the difference in the color of the foamboard between coated and not in this pic.

I think I am going to pick back up on this design again for the challenge, I kinda put the brakes on this one about a year ago because I couldn't figure out how to get the fuse shape right, was only getting 2 of the 3 views right. I think I have a plan now. Wing goes through the body, doesn't sit on top like in the picture. The original plan for this was two brushed motors I have from an old quad but I think I can find some small brushless ones to do it.

Im thinking something a little more function than form. Probably going LiIon, maybe even built into the wing. We'll see. Mine will literally just be a "v" channel with a wing attached. But it is going to look like my big FPV plane by God! I have some 2S1P lion packs coming in, not because I can't make my own, because it is just as cheap to buy them premade. I bought them for my ZOHD drift and they have XT30 connectors on them, but I may slap a XT60 on one for this plane. My drift flies over 30 minutes on a 1100 MAH 3s pack, people are getting over an hour on the 2S1P packs, so I may just do that. This plane will probably be lighter than the drift, maybe even a bit more slippery, we shall see. That depends entirely on the wing. I am going to cover the open part with tissue paper when I am done. I actually believe I will be able to load up a 2200 MAH battery on this, but it wouldn't make weight. My unofficial weigh in was 215g with a 1000mah 3s. I just need to add a couple of 5g servos, so I should be under 250. I should be able to get under 250 with a FPV camera too. Not bad for a plane with a 40 inch wingspan and 30 inches long. If I wanted to go over 250, I would add foam to the top, a 2205, and a 2200mah battery and fly forever! Of course if I want to make it lighter, I can start cutting off the wing tips (the wing is the heaviest part at 60g) and some of the front fuselage. I had a smaller 30 inch wing but it didn't work right.
