Got some more done on my Flerken got the wings attached and got most of the rest of the parts are cut out but GOD so many bevels on this model and fold overs but it will be worth it in the end if it flies ok. Anyhow its starting to look interesting I have to Look up a KLINGON script so I can put its name on it in klingon.  |

View AttachmentI should get the plans printed out monday, maybe tomorrow if I can sneak and get on the printer when the wife isn't looking. I don't know why she hates for me to print plans on the home printer, but it is what it is. I figure I'll just build the big one. I dug through and found a sunnysky 2206/1300kv, so I can ram an 8x8 prop on that and see how it goes. |

Well I'm sure you will be before I am your at a much more southern latitude then I am the weather here will suck untill about the end of April . I don't have a garage so I don't have anywhere I can paint living in a town house either.That and cold air plays havoc with my arthritis so its the RC flight Simulator till it warms up outside. Mind you I found the Clearview has a Polaris seaplane model in it's inventory of planes that had me considering building one the sim flies great!

Dude, I feel like I have been cutting and piecing plans together FOREVER and I am still not done. This thing is going to be complicated. But at least it won't be tiny like the nano.

I feel for ya I went through the same agony piecing the plans together is sometimes more work then cutting out the parts and gluing I'm actually thinking of going to staples and having them print out full size plans.

I've started construction on mine.
What motor did you balance with a 2200 3s?
I am considering a 2212/1400kv with a 7x6 prop on 4s or a 3536 10x7 prop on 3s.
Ironically, they would both go about the same speed lol.

I'm using a 2217 1250KV with a 9x5 prop same as I used on my FT spear. Mind you I also have a keychain HD camera mounted in the nose as well.

I'm also planning to get some 2200 or 3300 4s batteries to run in it and the aerocommander.
